Panasonic KX-TDE IP PBX

Pure VOIP Digital Telephone System Pricing reduced January 2010

Panasonic
KXTDE 100, KXTDE 200, KX-TDE600
Panasonics
new pure IP PBX delivers an all in one converged IP platform, it
is a true converged system for today and the future.
The design
of the KX-TDE100 and KX-TDE200 is based on the Panasonic
KX-TDA100 and KX-TDA200. The KX-TDE cabinet accommodates both
KX-TDA power supplies and most KX-TDA circuit cards. However,
the KX-TDE is a converged system that offers pure IP
connectivity via a network or Ethernet connection that resides
on a new main processor card. This allows the KX-TDE to be
configured as a pure IP system, as a traditional system or
both—allowing the customer to migrate to IP at their own pace.
The KX-TDE supports expansion with analogue, Digital & ISDN,
Network with other systems, making them ideal for customers
planning to expand into a VoIP Solution in the future. Enhance
your business with a solution designed to meet your needs, with
mobility, network applications and a common infrastructure that
can connect to your users, wherever they are Easy-Smooth
Migration is the key for customers upgrading to Converged
solutions. KX-TDA100/200 systems can easily be upgraded to take
advantage of all the new benefits. Manage a single, or multiple
systems from any location, and benefits from lower costs, and
increased business productivity.

Panasonic KX-TDE100/KX-TDE200 Pure IP-PBX supports
Panasonic KX-NT series IP proprietary telephones (IP-PTs),
Panasonic IP softphones, and SIP (Session Initiation
Protocol) Extensions (hardphones and softphones) for
communication on a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
network. These IP telephones can be used as extensions
of the PBX when the local office LAN is connected to
other LANs at different locations.
The Pure IP-PBX also enables VoIP communication with
PBXs installed at different locations. Since the
communication does not take place over conventional
telephone network, the high cost of long distance
communication is virtually eliminated.

KXTDE System Highlights
System
Features:
|
DHCP – Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Assignment–
The system will allow the PBX to use DHCP client
Allowing IP addresses to be received from a DHCP Server
over the LAN – The DHCP server must be set to no
expiration lease Time on the IP addresses leased to the
IPCMPR and DSP cards once IP telephones are registered
or the Phone will no longer function |
|
Packet Internet Groper (PING) Confirmation
– The TDE has a built in PING command that can be Used
to confirm the connection of the IP telephones, Routers
and hubs within or outside the private Network. The PBX
will send a Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP)
echo request through the PC programming tool and receive
and ICMP message confirming connection (reply). |
|
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
– The TDE supports the connection of SIP supported IP
Telephones – The PBX supports SIP devices that use RFC
3261, 3264, 3310, 2327 or 4028 – Some SIP devices may
not work on this PBX |
|
Network Management
SNMP Server – Simple Network Manager Protocol – Allows a
user assigned as a SNMP Manager to receive system status
• Local alarm • System activity |
|
Peer – to – Peer
– The PBX automatically establishes peer-to-peer
communication between peer-to-peer compatible IP
extensions. Non peer-to-peer IP extension calls are
routed through the VoIP DSP card. A peer to- peer
connection allows the call to take place without using
the PBX’s VoIP resources – Peer-to-peer calls can only
be made from IP extensions connected through the IPCMPR
card |
|
Call Center Applications
– Single Site and Multi-node opportunities– Small to
Mid-Size businesses– Enhanced remote Agents – with
Enhanced feature sets at their disposal |
|
Enhanced Walking Extension
– With the Walking Extension feature extensions use a
Service-In mode to operate normally and an Service-Out
mode, where they can no longer make or take calls, to
allow users to use an extension at the office or at home

for business that share desks for different shifts
throughout the day. A user would simply log into their
phone and set their extension settings when they come to
work– Extension Pin is required for this feature to
function |
|
Simplified Voice Message
The TDE’s IPCMPR card comes equipped with a two port
Simplified Voice Mail (SVM) • Users can redirect their
calls to a mailbox created on the SVM either by call
forward or intercept route programming • Up to 125
message (including outgoing greeting) and/or 60 minutes
of recording time can be used. When there is 90%usage
users are notified via their display and by hearing tone
3 when going off hook • Normal and Time Service
Greetings available• Message Recording Quality– High –
40 minutes– Middle – 60 minutes– Low – 90 minutes |
|
CTI-Computer Telephony Integration–
First Party Call Control• First Party Call Control
requires the physical connection of a DPT to a PC using
a USB Add on module. The PC can then monitor the
extension and have call handling option via a GUI
interface – Examples of First Party Call Control
include: PC Phone, PC Console, and Outlook Toolbar
–Third Party Call Control • Third Party Call Control
connects a CTI Server via the LAN port on the IPCMPR
card. PC’s can monitor the status of the PBX and control
functions of the PBX by using the CTI Server. Control is
not handled by the local PC. This style of call control
allows for screen pops and integration with databases on
the network |
|
Boss and Secretary Feature
– When the boss has his extension forwarded to his
secretary, the secretary extension can still call and or
forward calls to the Boss’s extension |
|
Call Forward
– The TDE system allows a call for forward four times on
an incoming call – If the fourth destination is set to
Call forward feature or has intercept destination set
then the forwarding is set back to a zero count and
start all over |
Broadcasting – A PT user can call members of a
Broadcasting Group• 8 Groups / 32 members per Group
– After one member answers, the caller may begin an
announcement – After one member answers, other member
extensions are still ringing and may be answered
providing a confirmation tone to the caller– Each Member
may answer and listen to the announcement – During the
announcement, member voices are not heard– The Caller
can identify specific Members to speak creating up to a
4 party conference, the conference is heard by all
Members |
Completion of Calls to Busy Subscriber(CCBS)
by QSIG–
When a call is directed to an extension on another PBX
and the extension is busy, the feature can be set to
receive callback ringing when the destination becomes
available
• Both PBX’s must support CCBS |
|
ASPA’s (Alternative Service Provider Applications)–
“All clients” are the nodes– SIP End points enhance /
add valueto this approach– Provides you with alternative
for your SBS clients -they now have economical solution
with enhanced features – TDE simplifies– Networking
tools in TDE allow easy deployment |
